Short version: PowerballTax.com does not require an account, does not ask for personal identifiers, and keeps calculator inputs local whenever possible. This policy explains the limited data needed to run the site, measure traffic, serve advertising, and keep the tax data current.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name, address, Social Security number, ticket number, bank details, or any other sensitive personal identifier. You can use the Powerball tax calculator without creating an account or submitting a form.
Calculator inputs
Jackpot amounts, payout choices, state selections, and other calculator assumptions are used to produce an estimate in your browser. We do not use those inputs to identify you, sell leads, or decide whether you won a prize.
Analytics

Advertising and Google AdSense
PowerballTax.com may display ads through Google AdSense or other advertising partners. Advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information, and interaction data to serve ads, limit repeated ads, measure performance, detect invalid traffic, and comply with advertising policies.
Cookies
The calculator itself does not require an account cookie. The site may store a language preference cookie when you switch languages, containing only the locale code. Third-party advertising services may set or read cookies and similar technologies according to their own policies.
Third-party services
We use Vercel for hosting, analytics, and caching; RapidAPI for server-side Powerball data access; open.er-api.com for exchange-rate data; and Google AdSense if advertising is enabled. Your browser does not contact the lottery API directly.
Personalized ads and opt-out choices
Google and its partners may serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region, consent status, browser settings, and Google account settings. Data sharing and sale of information
We do not sell direct personal information, and we do not provide calculator inputs to data brokers. Standard requests to analytics, hosting, security, and advertising providers may include technical data such as IP address, user agent, page URL, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or limit certain personal information. Because we do not run accounts or store calculator profiles, most privacy requests will involve email correspondence or third-party ad settings. Children
PowerballTax.com is not directed to children. The site discusses lottery winnings, taxes, and financial planning topics intended for adults. Do not use the site if you are below the legal age required to participate in lottery-related activity in your jurisdiction.
