October 19, 2026 Powerball Results: $1M Winner in Maryland, Jackpot Rolls On
The jackpot survived, but the draw still produced a major winner: a $1M Match 5 ticket in Maryland.
The draw's strongest angle is the non-jackpot winner in Maryland who hit Match 5. That prize does not end the jackpot run, but it still creates a real tax-planning problem.
The winning numbers were 8, 31, 32, 42, 48 and Powerball 23, with Power Play 4x. The white balls totaled 161, with an odd/even split of 1/4 and a low/high split of 3/2.
With no grand-prize winner, the jackpot is now set to roll to $635M for Wednesday, Oct 21, with a cash value around $267.5M.
While the jackpot remains elusive, it was still a life-changing night for a player in Maryland who hit Match 5 for $1M.
