October 3, 2026 Powerball Results: $1M Winner in Texas, Jackpot Rolls On
The jackpot survived, but the draw still produced a major winner: a $1M Match 5 ticket in Texas.
The draw's strongest angle is the non-jackpot winner in Texas who hit Match 5. That prize does not end the jackpot run, but it still creates a real tax-planning problem.
The winning numbers were 4, 42, 44, 55, 59 and Powerball 14, with Power Play 2x. The white balls totaled 204, with an odd/even split of 2/3 and a low/high split of 1/4.
With no grand-prize winner, the jackpot is now set to roll to $467M for Monday, Oct 5, with a cash value around $192.4M.
While the jackpot remains elusive, it was still a life-changing night for a player in Texas who hit Match 5 for $1M.
